Can some Brit tell me what "chav" and "wag" means?

wags are wives and girlfriends of football players, or sports stars. chav are skanky teenagers that sit around towns, smoking and fighting and being pains. they wear nike and addidas and nike etc and they think this makes them look smart and rich. yet funnily enough there are no chavs at private schools!
