California Prop 8 not intended to be discriminatory?
The individual has the right to vote based on their own morality, even if it is religion based. It is the law it's self, and those that write it that cannot base it on religious conviction. Probably more than half Pro-life voters will vote the same way on abortion until the day they die, because of their religious conviction. That's why we follow Majority Rule, if most of America felt one way, then the government could reflect the general will of the people without bias, even though the people may be bias.
