Photography Schools in NYC?

I've been into photography for over 10 years. I took photography courses throughout high school, and went to community college for 3 semesters where I also took photography courses. I stopped going, because the courses I was taking were the same courses I took in high school (how to develop your own film, use a 35mm slr, make prints, enlargements, and b&w and color printing techniques). I have worked in a photo studio for 2 years thinking I would get hands on learning, but that didn't work, as they didn't let me play with lighting at ALL. I am interested in studio photography but my ultimate goal is to shoot weddings and travel (brochure/advertising style). I'm trying not to leave NYC but if it comes down to it, I would be willing to relocate no more than 2 hours from the city. Also, I messed up a bit in my other, non photography courses in community college so my transcript isn't that great (i have a 2.4 gpa) so schools like FIT will not accept me.
