What are you're feelings toward the name Brandi?

Hi, my name is Brandi and my middle name is Nichelle. I love both of those names, but it is very frustrating when people tell me or others online that they are stupid or ugly. For example, they'll say that Brandi sounds like a stripper, it looks trashy, it reminds them of the drink, etc. Also, with my middle name, everyone umes it is a typo, my parents are idiots, and that I'm not smart. Personally, I find it very insulting, because my parents are not stupid, in fact they both graduated from West Point. Plus, they say it looks like they're illiterate, firstly, they spelled Brandi with an 'i' because they liked it and it looks less like the drink, and my sister's initials are BNB, so they wanted it to match. I am tired of the stereotypes, I am just a pretty African American girl, with all A's and a lot of friends. If you want, you can put down you first name as well, and see how much you like it if other people say it sounds stupid.
