Asteroid hitting the earlh in 2036?

Yes, every time they look at it, the odds get higher _against_: it becomes a _less_ likely event. Currently they're running at 250,000:1 against, which are pretty long odds _against_. NASA issues press releases, but how interested is the news media in events which are _not_ going to happen?
