How/when do you pick an eye booger?
I prefer, though rarely do, to wash hands before picking the eye booger so the filth from your hands doesn't irritate the eye. Then I lightly brush off the booger with increasing pressure and possible use of nail until the booger is fully removed. Also, be sure to clean the eye lashes. Top eyelashes should be pinched and pull the fingers away from body. Next, clean the lower lashes with a quick light brushing away from the the center of the face. Some increased pressure may be needed, but it is best to quickly brush the lash instead of increasing pressure. Eyelashes should be cleaned after a few quick strokes to remove all the large boogers. It is necessary to wipe all boogers clear of the face lest you fell left with errant eye boogers randomly placed near the eyes. And we wouldn't want that would we?
