Is there a law organization in or around Philly, PA that can answer pro bono questions on lease agreements?
Hiya, my landlord is in violation of the lease (re: noise requirements), but the building manager refuses to bring it to his/her attention. When I even ask WHO the landlord is, she tells me "I don't even know." This needs to be addressed b/c there is non-stop constuction that has been going on for weeks. It's so loud that it wakes me up EARLY in the am and I take evening cles. The floor shakes and my cat is scared all of the time. And it's so bad on some days that I have to leave my apt. Who can I speak to legally about this?? Please note that I am on a very humbling student budget so cannot afford to pay for a lawyer, but I know that sometimes local law schools have pro bono law centers of some sort to help people that can't afford to pay for an attorney (to just answer basic questions). And FYI, the name of the complex is Plymouth Park Apts, in Conshohocken, PA, if anyone can find anything online re: the name of the owners. They own several apt complexes around here. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)
