Why do so many Christians deny their own religion? especially on the notion, that jesus, is God?

You have to accept not only are there several denominations of Christianity, but they all view Jesus differently. You and I must accept this as Christian and agnostic respectively. Even you think they are wrong, there's nothing you can do about it.
